My band had its first full practice with all four members, and we pretty much all agreed on meeting on Monday evenings to practice. I'll try to work in a second time each week when the time is right. I don't think once a week is enough to really be good. It's enough to keep the band glued together, and it's enough to get us ready for a few open mikes. In time, we WILL have 2 practices a week...
So referring to Steamin' Steve Clark, I say this: put me on a schedule where I wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, and then sit at the computer composing/editing music for a good few hours with my trusty tall can of Red Bull. Then I eat lunch. Then, in the afternoon, have the bandmates come for practice. In the evening, I'm either setting up for a show, or playing in it with the band. Then I go home, play my videogames or write my stories for a couple hours while I eat dinner, and then go to bed.
You have me on that schedule, you WILL have me off of drugs permanently(Red Bull notwithstanding).
I'm working on it. I'll be playing Mario Kart on my DS now.
